PayPal to make amends

I just read in today's San Jose Mercury News:

"SAN JOSE, Calif. - Online payment service PayPal said it will essentially waive transaction fees for some customers on Thursday to make amends for the inconvenience caused by about five days of intermittent service outages earlier this month."

So if you owe anybody money for coins and plan on paying by PayPal today would be a really nice day to pay them.

I think the email and offer only applied to paid members, I have a free account adn I didn't receive any notices. I guess those of us who refuse to upgrade will simply continue to get the level of service we're paying for. image

  • Sorry if this is old news. I didn't get any email from them nor did I notice the threads. But then again I haven't been watching the threads too closely.
  • Morning Carl......that's ok, I didn't receive any emails on it either......

They won't be crediting accounts as payments are made. They say it will be in about a month. How many think they'll "forget" or will have a "technical issue" preventing the refunds of fees?
