How do I attach photos to the message??

I've figured out how to link to photos, but how do I attach them directly? I tried the Help Section, but can't figure it out.

Hit "quote" on this message and it will show the syntax. Ignore the "q"'s those are for the quotes.

right syntax, but images need to online first, can't post directly from your computer. Know how to attach? If you attach it, get the web address and then do this it should work.

You need to upload the images to this site or some other web server. Your attempt tried to "attach" a file that only exists locally on your machine.

You can't lnk stuff from your computer. We can't see your C drive. It either has to be hosted on a website or uploaded to the forum. There is a testing forum to test and practice with.

First get the attaching down. Go to the bottom of the posting page and hit the attach button. Browse your hard-drive, find the image, hit OK and hit upload on the "upload box". Must be 50K or less.

Thanks to everyone for the help.

Coinguy1, I had to create a photo group in MSN Photo. Then, I saved the photos to MSN Photo to gain an accessible, URl address. Just like you said, right click on the photo then go to properties. I copied the URL address.

Using guidance from Ziggy and mgoodm3, I used the IMG and /IMG with the "["and '"]" to enclose the URL address.

Presto - an image of a 1960 Pr68DCam Small Date Lincoln.

I'm still not sure where the photo icon is located on the message form, but it doesn't matter when using the IMG language directly.

Yup. For those who come along later and wondered the same thing, here's what you type:



You put your opening and closing tags on either end of the web address (URL) of your picture.

In the illustration above, the opening and closing tags are shown in black. The part in red is where your URL will go, with no spaces in between.
