Since when can you list copies without noting what it is?

Comments

  • Since never. The coin says copy which is within US law but ike you said he should put it in the title and description.

    Sent the seller a question....
Give Blood (Red Bags) & Platelets (Yellow Bags)!
  • Probably should have sent the buyer the question

Whether or not COPY should be in the desciption or title it is readily seen in the scans. The seller has done nothing to hide that fact.

    Questionable - Maybe

We have seen COPIES out there with the "copy" removed trying to sell as originals ...

What do you want ??? Everything on the up and up ?? Everything disclosed ??? You want honest auctions ???

PLEASE ... This forum would dry up ... LOL ..

This gold piece, is it a recently made copy or was made long ago ? These copy coins really rub me the wrong way for some reason. Not long ago one morning, I was watching the news and here is a commercial for a 1933 Saint Gaudens copy from some off the wall mint. At the same time that was on, my wife hands me a flyer out of the news paper from J.C. Penny selling 1889 CC Morgan dollars for $19.99, buy 5 and get a discount. My wife says, look honey these are like yours only cheaper. Good greef !!!
There used to be laws governing the altering and duplicating of U.S Coins and Currency. What happened ?
