Actually, the second coin, a raw AU 1842, is far more colorful than the ANACS AU50 1839 above, but you'd never know it from looking at my pictures. Jeremy's photography skills are far better than my own. Neither coin is what you'd call monster toned, and the 1839 is a bit dark in person, but the 1842 (from coinlieutenant) is actually very pretty and colorful in hand, if not in the pics.
