Well maybe not for some of you but I never read anything about this dealer on this board. The coin came from Victorian Rare Coin. This is the second coin, he just does not have a lot of early Mercs, purchased from him and both coins have been very nice for the grade assigned to them. No complaints from me about this seller. Smooth all the way.
Take a stab at the grade if you would like. If my pictures are decent this one may suprise you.

<< <i>Geeze you know I'm always asking you about Mercs so I'll probably make a fool out of myself but here goes......67FB. Nice looking. >>
Don't be so hard on yourself. We all miss one from time to time.....
Interesting range of grades on this coin. If we were back in the early 80's when ANACS gave a grade to both sides the coin would have a big split from side to side in my opinion.

1) I guess it's FB but it's a bit hard to tell exactly. The lower diagonal band seems weak but that, again, could just bet the lighting. Other than than it is very well stuck...which really what is important.
2) Luster seems very nice and "blastlike".
3) Is that a hit above Lib's eye or is it the picture...again?

To tell you the truth there is absolutly NOTHING in that picture that would give me that impression. Pictures are tricky....

Thank You I needed that....
And the grade for the coin is PCGS MS64. PQ for the grade. The reverse is very very nice. A couple of guys hit this one right on the head. Actually the coin has split bands but it must have been late on a Friday.
