Is it better to consign at FUN or Long Beach?

  • Depends on what Long Beach and how the market is going at that time.

    Feb. Long Beach.
  • Either would be fine. Depending upon what you are going to consign you could call and ask the auction company whhat auction has less of what you are consigning. It really doesn't matter because they are so close in time. I'd vote FUN though.

You have to predict what the market is doing at the time. Will it be gathering steam again at FUN (this time it's in Ft. Lauderdale, not Orlando), or will Feb/March Long Beach be stronger? The aftermath of the election will have some bearing on this. How quickly will the direction of our economy be shifted, if at all.

There are multiple sales at each of these venues, each attended differently. If your coin comes up at the end of the last sale, that could be a problem.

There is lots to consider but you can also overload on coming up with factors that affect the outcome.

  • Also consider Baltimore! FUN and Baltimore are the 3 best business shows of the year.

I think your 1794 dollar will have no problem selling wherever and whenever you consign it. image
