The coins:
That one is the "giveth." I originally posted about it in this thread.
I had it going a lock PR67CAM with a real possibility of PR68CAM because of the outstanding mirror depth. PCGS agreed. It's a POP 35/0, and I've now made three of that pop.
That one is the "taketh." I had that coin going MS67DCAM, but once again PCGS is being tighter than a bug's ass. It's every bit as strong as the other DCAMs I've made, and stronger than some I've handled. Damn, they are being tough on these right now.
I'd whine a little bit more about the SMS coin, but since I just nailed that Accented Hair my disappointment is somewhat mitigated.

<< <i>Russ, don't you know by now that you need to throw more money at the bastiges if you really want the proper grade? >>
Yeah, I know. I think PCGS deliberately plays head games with me. Every submission has disappointments, but they always slip me a winner or two to keep me coming back.

With my ANACS coins, I'd swear the graders know which coins are mine (here's you know who with those 21-D coins again), and do the same to me. Usually a low result (always one grade under my "owners value"), but sometimes a nice bonus. I once tried increasing the value to fool em', didn't help though!
