Did I goof my listing up? should I cancel and relist?

I started the following auction the other nite. Today I realized that I stupidly neglected to put 1793 in the title!
Do you think that this will make any difference or should I cancel the listing and relist it with 1793 in the title???

I didn't post this to try and attract bidders so please don't assume so.

The date is important and I would cancel and re-list. I would e-mail the winning bidders to notify them why you did it and everything should be fine.

You could email each bidder, explain what you need to do (edit the title), cancel all the bids, and edit the title.

Politely Ask the bidders to re-bid if they would like.

Relist and explain to the bidders why, the date is just too important.

I'd cancel the bids (and the auction), contact each of the bidders and explain why I cancelled it, apologize for the goof-up and encourage them to bid again when the listing is corrected.

goose3, your sales pitch is a bit weak. Right away you point out the flaws of the coin. It reads like you hate the coin. Why not work it up at the beginning of the paragraph and THEN mention the flaws. Why not plug the fact it is an important date? When you don't have eye appeal on your side you need to sell a little harder.
