Wasn't expecting to wake up today and shake the Presidents hand. He made a quick unexpected visit and greeted a few of us on Main street.,Safety Harbor,Fl. Pretty interesting watching the secret service at work.
There was definitely no shortage of officers. Got a pretty interesting photo I'll try to post later.

Thats my hand in the pic. Also take a look at Mel Gibson on the left, keeping a close eye on me. The pic is kind of funny because it looks like I am actually doing something else with my hand

Whatever one may think of this particular president, any particular president or any of their policies, out of sheer respect for the office, meeting and shaking hands with the president is pretty darned cool.

Here's one for me to tell. I took a #2 in the White House. Yep, I should of had my brother-in-law take a pic of me sitting on the throne.
That would have been a picture for show and tell. Had a private tour of the White House many years ago and duty called....
Never did meet the President, but did get to go to Andrews and see him leave on Air Force 1.

I think it's cool to shake the prez's hand no matter who he may be. I would shake Bush's hand. I would go bass fishing with him and I would sell him a coin too, but I would not buy what he's trying to sell. And I would not want his face on any of my country's coinage.
