Sheesh, you'd think it would have been a P01 at best. PO0 is that possible?
But that grading company always seems to be overly optimistic on grading.

And the third-world of grading companies say we should trust them because?

The coin is a POS and deserves to be buried as it appears to have been for the last two-hundred and eleven years.

Just my opinion, I could be wrong...

A really nice low grade Chain Cent sold on Ebay last week for $2500. Worn, but totally original which is uncommon for these coins.

This coin has sold on ebay before. I remember threads on it last year but not sure how much it sold for. I'll try to do a search.

I have seen this chain cent on ebay before-- probably over a year ago. If i remember correctly, it sold around for around $650. If I didn't
have one already, I'd certainly go for an authentic Chain Cent-- even one this bad-- if I could get it below $500.

It does look like a 2. I wonder if the label goes with the coin? If so, SEGS should replace TruGrade and NTC and SGS as the new bottom of the line.
