I have seen this chain cent on ebay before-- probably over a year ago. If i remember correctly, it sold around for around $650. If I didn't have one already, I'd certainly go for an authentic Chain Cent-- even one this bad-- if I could get it below $500.

But that grading company always seems to be overly optimistic on grading.

If SEGS graded that VG10, I would have serious doubts as to their ability to even identify the coin

The coin is a POS and deserves to be buried as it appears to have been for the last two-hundred and eleven years.
Just my opinion, I could be wrong...
