I'm thinking they would bag it. Would it be worth trying?

What's going on with the eye?
I can't say whether they'd bag it or not. The hairlines might cause 'em to reject it, but they aren't too severe. Might get some leeway, considering what it is.
As to it being dipped, well, I'm always a lousy judge of that. Looks like maybe? But that doesn't mean they'd bag it. Plenty of dipped Bust coins get holdered.
I like it.
Edit to add a pic of one I just sold (dug by my detecting partner).
But it still is not the best example of the walleyed look. I had a SEGS VF30 that really had that look.
my guess would be contemporary counterfeit

I found this one on the internet. It's of a dime. Compare the eyes. They look darn close to me. The numerals in the date also appear to be the same. I think it's genuine, but it looks too white to be original. I would expect a coin that old to be darker. It may have been cleaned in the past, but gently since it doesn't show much in the way of cleaning damage.
Cleaned at some point I'm sure. Not as bad as the image makes it look.
I was trying to get the scratches to show the most.
PCGS might let the cleaning slide but the damage worries me.
Wondering just how picky they get on a coin of this age.
Thanks for everyones post.

When the time comes to sell the plastic would answer some of the buyers questions.
As bad as my pics are I could use all the help I can get.
