Okay, y'all, time for a pool, closest to the right answer gets bragging rights: How long will it be until a scam auction using this image is conducted by a brand new zero-feedback seller demanding only wire transfers and money orders? image

I saw this coin was discussed on the NGC forums, too. How can you tell anything from those pictures?

The pics are VERY high contrast, which makes the coin look amazingly crisp, but not likely very accurate.

All of this talk about picutres is silly. You cannot evaluate the accuracy of a pr68 coin from pictures unless the coin has turned in the holder or is an egregious grading error. In fact, how many of you have handled so many high grade proof IHCs that you can reliably grade a pr68 in hand?

Well, that's all we have to go on. I can't tell anything about the coin.

That's why I'm wondering why people on two message boards are raving about a coin, about which they know nothing more than a number on a slabimage

Better pics would be better than what I'm looking at right now.

nice looking coin. The pics appear to have "enhanced" contrast. I'd want to take some huge pictures probably a very photogenic coin.

very poor photos. might as well be color by number. this dealer does use a lot of superlatives on their coins, so you can disregard the fluff and just see it in person to make your decision.
