Submitting Complete Mint/Proof Sets For Grading?

I have some nice Mint and Proof Sets that I am considering sending in to PCGS for Grading. I want to send the complete set. Can I submit them complete to PCGS still in the Packaging from the Mint? It seems like this would be acceptable. Less chance of any fingerprints, etc. on the coins? Thanks for your thoughts, Lee

Yes you can, but the entire set has to be graded.

Wrong answer. See Yousri's post for the correct response.

The only drawback is it will take a week for them to post coins
Someone has to open them at PCGS

For recent ones it is, just twist it and insert a screwdriver along the seam and lift.
Ones from the 1970's are the hardest, because each coin is in a grooved slot that doesn't always peel apart.
PCGS uses a saw to cut them open. And yes, it you have the complete set graded PCGS will remove them from the set.
