    I saw the auctions. It seems that the late Dr. was more of a hard asset hoarder than a collector. I have only perused some of the auctions, but it appears that most of what is available are bulk rolls and silver.

    Also, seeing the rolls of late date Walking Liberty halves, it makes me wonder why people pay large sums for higher unc. coins when there are obviously many rolls extant waiting to be found or sold and ultimately sent in to third party grading companies.

    These rolls are gem MS-65 and above coins? I don't think so. I bet you would be lucky to get anything above MS-63. Same with nearlly all the rolls of them out there. You won't find hoards of high grade coins.

    There are some nice Morgan dollars there but a lot of them look heavlily cleaned, thus reducing the value greatly.
