I could be wrong (happened once or twice so far this last millenium ) but I believe I recall one of them saying that they were still friends but had taken their business/interests in separate directions....
As friends? Yes. As business partners in Jade Rare Coin? No. We sold the company recently. James runs earlyus.com and sets up at some shows under that name. Andrew Reiber, a respected dealer out of Chicago, bought Jade Rare Coin and I work full time for the company in our Grand Rapids, Michigan office. We have a new web site that we are slowly but surely developing. It is www.jaderarecoin.com. You may have also noticed that we have started to advertise in Coin World. We had a 1/2 page ad last week and will have another similar ad this week. Jade Rare Coin will specialize in collector-level coins with an emphasis on early American type. However, you will notice that the web site inventory section has a spot reserved for just about everything.
James and I still work together on an almost daily basis in terms of buying and selling. The decision to split up the company was strictly a strategic business decision. Sometimes we even share tables at coin shows. He's a great guy and a talented numismatist. We have been collecting coins together since the 5th grade. Now we are in the 9th grade and still collecting!
They are both super nice guys, and I wish them well. RYK, thanks for the compliment.
...and looks like Dennis is building a new site. ER, sorry it's taking so long, but we are making progess on a daily basis. James actually designed the foundation of the site. He has been harassing me often regarding the broken links, lack of inventory, etc.
neither one of you are listed on coinsheets.com Jerry, I am now! I just submitting my request to be added to the site. Thanks for the suggestion.
what happened to the norweb? did you cut in half & divvy it up for posterity??? DorkKarl, We traded it to MadMarty for one of those dong coins.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Don't believe it. Marty would just as soon give up his left nut as trade away one of his precious "dong coins".
