I'm going to take an extended break from this forum...seems I can't ask a question of the people I enjoy being around here without my post being moved...and that frankly pisses me off. I don't know the people in the open forum as well as those who hang around here, so that's why I asked in here.

Sorry Darktone for getting your pants in a bunch, but I posted my thread in here for a reason and apologized to the likes of you ahead of time.

I'm out of here.

    I don't know what's going on around here. You might want to try www.coinpeople.com while your taking a break. It's allot slower paced than here, but at least it's something and I know you know about across the street.

    Okay....I'm presenting these projects to the customer on Monday - that's tomorrow. I have a number of friends here who I wanted to get feedback from on what they thought about the graphics and layout - that's all. I didn't care if the other people here replied or not.

    You know, 99.95% of my posts are help for people here in the USCoin forum, all coin related. I don't hang out in the open forum and don't know three fourths of the people there, and frankly don't care to. Most of the people I post with here generally don't post in the open forum, so it was useless to post anything there. I don't get involved in the pissing contests, I don't usually post just to be posting, like a good number of the people here.

    So when I want my friends to see something and respond to it and post that question here because this is where my friends are (many people from here would never look in the open forum to see my post there). I DAMN GOOD WELL know where I'm posting it and why. People can get into pissing contests in here that last for a week, people can talk about their eBay problems and their computer problems, post about the weather, etc...but when I post about some artwork I did, "Swish," it's taken away and plopped into the abyss of the Open forum. Frankly that pisses me off to no end. I've asked that they delete my membership from here. If they think they need to move my posts around because I may not know where they should go, then I don't need to be posting here at all. I think I've earned my place to have an OT thread here and there....much more so than many of the people who have constant OT posts about nothing important.

    I'm done...they can have it. For those interested in finding me, you know where I'll be. Either in my forum or by e-mail at cd@coppercoins.com.

    manofcoins, legend - If it hadn't been very important to get the feedback today, it wouldn't have bothered me nearly as much - they should know my OT threads here are very few and very far between.

    Cameron - Thank you for keeping tabs on me. That was uncalled for and unnecessary.

    Darktone - I agree with ss350camaro....especially since I apologized in advance, but it was important to get feedback from the couple dozen people that mattered.

    CU Moderators - Thank you....you can now delete me from the system.

    Sorry to see you leave as well. Sometimes I think people here are in alter ego mode when posting here and do not realize they are interacting with people much like themselves. If you do something the do not like that is just you being you and it bothers them. If they scream that is just them being themselves. I would just let it roll off my back and come back smiling the next day.

    The bottem line is you are an asset here and many people benefit from your presence. Fortunately people know to go to( coppercoins) if they have a copper emergency.image

    So your post was worse than a post by some person giving away something because they have posted here 100 times ?

    Personally I think not ? Come on CU. The old double standard has kicked in again. Also who was the Whiner ? Pretty soon this place will be just Give Aways, which belong on another forum, Ebay Auctions, that Suck and You Suck Threads, which more than suck.

    I`ve taken a sabbatical a few times in the nearly 2 years I`ve been here. I hope you`re coming back at sometime and understand where you`re coming from. I left for nearly a month and came back a few days ago. It was enough, for now, that there are a few people here I call " forum friends " and it`s them that makes it worth my while here. Most of them are ones I made early on here.

    I don`t know exactly what the talk is about in terms of the squabbling since I was gone for just about the entire month of September. I`m not sure if I really want to know either. I just had to regroup and sort out what and why I`m here.

I handle OT stuff with PM's- it's pretty easy to do.

          A couple of years ago almost everyone would point out an OT thread or a spam thread.......... seems like the OT/spam is gaining ground fast with all the new members deeming it okay.

            I feel exactly the same way. I've posted to the open forum maybe five times but greatly prefer the people here. I know them far better.
