Well, perhaps my most sentimentally-valued non-dug coin is also, as it happens, an 1827 square-base-2 Bust half.
I've had it since 1977, when I was a mere kid. But it ain't as nice as yours. It's a cleaned but colorfully retoned EF45, with a slight rim bump. Cleaned it myself when I was a dumb kid, but it's had over two decades to retone and looks very pretty now- despite the fact it would never slab.
My favorite is always the newest added to the collection. This one has been with me for about a week. A nice trade from Wayne Herndon.
heres is my little type set - with reverses. not the best scans but what the heck. Never posted the reverses before. MUCH better scans in the link to my set below. Sure hope there is not a 1 coin pic limit....

The photo dosn't do justice to the coin. To say I'm happy would be an understatement.
A couple of really pretty 66PL's.I can't narrow it down to one or the other so I had to post both

Stuart,
Fantastic !!!!! It doesn't get much better than that !!!
Somebody ALWAYS comes along and ruins the grading curve.
And...Mr. Stuart sir? I know you don't know me, but I'm about to do you a BIG favor. I will trade that recent date dollar of yours for this 1798. I'll even throw in the file marks for FREE.
Tom
Edit: Dang, is my face red.
I'm still having fun, however, and trusting my fate (as I learn more and more) into HONEST dealers.

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)
