Nickel grade opinions, please...

Yes, this is the ANACS struck thru nickel I posted a few days back. Some of you may remember the grade that ANACS gave this coin, but I was wondering if anyone can give an unbiased opinion based on these new pics. The small specs on the reverse pic is dust on the holder. Also, will a strike thru like this bring any premium? How much? Thanks. image

  • pr-67 IMHO due to what appears to be hairlines in the field on the obverse and reverse, but that could just be the photo. I do not know if the error will bring a premium.

  • Thanks for the replies. My grading skills are not up to par, but I still kinda figured I got robbed on the grade. image

  • It looks right on for the grade. I don't think you were robbed.

Really? Oh well, I guess I have a lot to learn about grades. For what it's worth, the coin looks better in hand. image

  • Looks to me like they might have actually down graded it slightly for the strike-through. Considered it damage.
