A FatMan thank-you to Wayne Herndon for a nice swap.
Wayne needed some proof sets I had laying around for a customer's order and I welcomed a coin in trade. So Wayne made a very nice trade indeed.
This 36-D Rhode Island is mostly white, with nice luster and is solid for the grade.

Also there is a very interesting die crack on the top at the OF on the reverse.
I'd be very curious what the "pros" grade it. Looks 65+ to me.

Coin collecting is not a hobby, it's an obsession !

You pretty much nailed it. It is resting anxiously in a PCGS MS65 slab. It is a very solid coin and with a few tries could easily end up in a 66 holder.
Thanks for the comments guys, but the kudos for this coin goes to Wayne. I received the coin blind and needless to say I'm quite pleased. All he told me was he took it for a trade at Long Beach and it had nice luster. I know Wayne has a great eye for nice looking coins but since it was taken in a trade I really didn't have high expectations.

Yep. I'm thinking 65 myself.
