I am not kidding!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The first seven that immediately comes to mind are:
1793 Chain Large Cent
1883 No Cent Nickel
1909 VDB Cent
1922 no D Lincoln Cent
1916 Liberty Standing Quarter
1937-D Three Legged Buffalo Nickel
1955 Doubled Die Cent
Other ideas include the 1942/1 Mercury dime but somehow it did not rise to the level of the above seven. What about the famous Jesse James silver Dollar? The 1861-O Gold $20?
I am sure we can all come up with a few more and if not then we can shorten or lengthen the list as needed.
Now this would be an immediately collectiblle set with at least two coins that are easily acquired by the most junior collectors (hey! Wouldn't us seniors like to be juniors again??), this would be a set that that anyone could start and dream of someday completing with just a little bit of luck!
This would be a fun set to do yet at the same time we could bask in all the glory of infamy!
Suggestions???????????????

Oh.... I thought maybe you meant:
The PF70DCAM 1963 Lincoln
The $100,000 fingerprint PF69 IHC
The 1873-S Seated Dollar in MS64 [that is undoubtably a trade dollar]
The $69,000 1953-S FBL half that 6 months later sold for around $40k
The certified ONE C_NT large cent
The slabbed foil covered Chocolate $20 gold piece
The pizzin' minuteman quarter
The genuine 1913 Liberty nickel called a fake for 40 years
The MS70 ACG liberty nickel in G04 Anaconda put up on ebay
The puttied MS66 Saint
What the heck, ANY trade dollar almost makes the list as a top ten infamous US coin!
But I like haletj's SBA dollar thought.
The 1950-D nickel does not quite cut it and the 1960 sd cent probably is shy of the 1972 doubled die cent in infamy?
More discussion needed.
