Got my 2004 silver proof set in the mail today! Does it seem that us coin collectors are helping to keep the government in business? Does it seem strange that, in general, we all love stuff the government produces?

Not all of us. I do not buy from the Mint anymore and will not. They have exceeded the normal markup for stuff from a governmment in my opinion and are getting rediculous with their packaging and higher prices.
