The seller makes no claim as to how it would grade. Right now the bid is low and since it's not on ebay it may stay low.

    It looks to me like it would grade g-4, with possible net grade ag-3 because of that gouge on the obverse.... is it a rare date??

    1892 is not particulary rare,unless it's an S mint.

    Or the New Orleans Mint.
  • Coinsite says the S and O mm's are rare. It calls the 1892 plain scarce. They should have a clear definition of their terms, but they don't.
