As I approach my 500th post it’s time for a coin give away contest !!
The Contest:
Attached is a modified obverse and reverse scan of the coin, your job is to answer the following questions correctly !!
1. What is the coins’ TYPE
2. When was the coin made, YEAR
3. Where was the coin made, MINT
4. What is the coins’ PCGS GRADE
Day one picture post:
Each day I will add a more revealing version of the coins’ obverse and reverse. The first person to provide the correct answer to all four questions wins the coin.
To keep this a contest of skill and not one of luck you are allowed only one chance to answer the four questions per day !!
Good Luck!

Ok, what did I win?
My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

As I said in my PM, my hat is off to you! This was the most creative and fair contest to everyone that I have seen so far.
It was difficult and, if someone hadn't already taken my guess, I would have not gotten it right right then.
My son will get this for his collection as well, so we both thank you
btw....I was amazed that so many people knew it was a SAE from the first pic.
For the last one, I took the image and did some non-sharpening and that helped verify it was the 200x dated SAE. Then, I, still having trouble with the last digit, thought......hmmm.....what would be a cool date to use, and thought "2000".
Again, thanks for a cool contest!

I used the "stylize-Emboss" feature in photoshop on the first picture and it presented a good enough image to determine without a doubt it was an SAE. The grade and date and MM was just a guessing game from there.
I guess he got xray vision
