Does it have any detail whatsoever (text, people, etc.) that the pic is not showing. Are you sure it is a coin?

The metal looks (from the picture/corrosion) like zinc if that helps any.

Looks too far gone to determine. I tried blowing the images up and inverting the colors (it sometimes brings out faint details) but didn't see anything. Can you give us the dimensions. That might help to match against some known coins.
