This is the only really nice coin I picked up @ LB. Its a grade higher and its far more colorful than my current 35-S so I snapped it up in the auction.
The luster is just beautiful, not that you can tell from the pics. Strike seems strong for a San Fran, less 1 hit on the cheek and it could go MS65. Any thoughts?
I'll post some better pics once it arrives.

I think it is lovely - my kind of color - look at my icon. The toning on your Peace $ does not overtake the coin, which can happen. I just love original coins!
Best to you, and nice find with some seldom seen colors - at least by me,

It's not great, but it is better than my current example. This is only the 2nd toned 35-S I have come across in the past 2 years. So while it might not be as nice as others in my collection, when you're doing a complete date/mintmark set it isn't always easy to find monsters for each one.
I think the coin does have a nice colorful original look to it. Most Peace $ have a dipped blast white look to them. While most Peace $ collectors prefer that I love that never been played with look. With more and mor coins being conserved/dipped I think these types of coins will only continue to appreciate over the long haul.
It is at least unique.
Thanks

You mean Garter Snake? Actually I think he has accepted my invitation for dinner and drinks @ the next Long Beach show. I'm sure he's a great guy, online personalities are always different than the actual thing, I hope.
