DMPL arrived

It IS a high grade DMPL, but cleaned image Oh well, at least it'll look good with the rest of my bodybags. Maybe I'll try to NCS it and see if they can make it look any better.

    If it is already cleaned there is not much they can do except put it in a NCS slab.

    I saw a picture on the NCS site of a severely scratched coin they conserved and you can hardly notice it was scrached at all.

    If they can fix those scratches, they can fix just about anything.

    Did they say that was scratched? No. It's not scratched. That was surface deposits they took off. A filmy surface that once it was removed, it revealed the coin underneath.

    They do NOT remove scratches. Your coin has been cleaned. They will slab it and do nothing else to it.

    The picture you are referring to wasn't scratched. That is the splotchy tone from improper storage.
