Will the mirabela/poe thread be made into a movie?

I don't want to bother to read that thread, but was wondering if a short video about it would be worth watching? Are there any good characters?

If it is, I hope that I get to play myself.

I would cast Keanu Reeves as Mitabela and Alan Rickman for Poe, with Kiefer Sutherland as Catfish.

  • Wow, maybe I'm missing something here.

    I see there already is a spin-off called "."

  • Better yet Poe should play Poe and Catfish

  • I was thinking more like Joe Pesci for Poe.

I'd watch it....kinda hard for the people at Blockbuster to categorize, though......is it a comedy or drama? Maybe someone should make a movie about that thread with Flash or something...
  • Poe is getting so much attention.

  • Poe has to be played by either Pesci or Divito

Mirabela is played by Sean Connery

  • And sequels.

Hey, we short and bald guys don't want to be associated with that. Give it to some tall hunk -- it's about time THEY got stereotyped negatively, too. image

Poe's attitude does seem to suggest he has "shortman's syndrome" doesn't it? It's like his anger and attitude are tries to mask inadequacies. image

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Let's be careful, please. As someone who's not quite even 5'8", I'm a bit sensitive to this particular stereotype, though I do nothing in my life to "compensate." And maybe the need to "compensate," such as it is felt by some, is because of the dismissive and cruel attitudes of society about the undesirability of short men which LONG preceded compensation?

    PLEASE, let's not go there.
  • Flaminio, this is the Poe/Catfish film:

  • I know, I just saw it on the boards. Something like 739 replies and counting. WOW
  • My casting: Mirabela played by the sensitive and charming Tom Cruise, Poe by the ever feisty Joe Pesci and Catfish by.....well, who else but Jack Nickleson?--"You want the truth? You can't handle the truth!!"

Sensitive and charming, huh? I'm flattered and everything, but I had in mind something more like James Earl Jones.

It's truly funny, no make that truly sad, that people in this day and age are so wrapped up in their own little world that they refuse to try and teach someone else the correct or accepted way of doing things.

Actually I see a character like Tom Hanks played in Ladykillers
    Prost!

Why step over the dollar to get to the cent? Because it's a 55DDO.

We would have to add a little "extra" to the coin in question, or people will fall asleep when the discover it's about a $100 coin- maybe an 1804 dollar or a rare piece of classic gold??

I had you pegged as a Morgan Freeman myself.

You had thought of him as a Morgan Freeman type, and you've argued against him this whole time?? What's up with that??? image

No, I stopped argueing against him on page 3 of that thread. Even congratulated him on winning with Paypal. People blindly let that pass.
