If you just leave it sitting out it will turn all sorts of colors. Look like a nice coinimage
  • Yep...thanks Boom...now all I gotta do is figure out what the heck I did to my camera to get this yellow tone off......my mercs, halves and now my beautiful quarter...

  • It looks good. We need more detail and less glare in the photos though for more accurate opnions.

Try moving the lights so there is less glare. For the color try adjusting the white balance or try using different types of lights or different color backgrounds.

Does your imaging software have whiteness correction? Mine has a feature where you can click on an area oft the picture that should be white, and the picture is adjusted. Without it, a couple of my "blast white" Morgans look like they have lots of golden toning. Which is fine...if they HAD the toning. image
  • This may have nothing to do with your problem--but do you have your flash on or off? When I have my flash on I get the yellow look your quarter has--without it everything is fine. I just keep forgetting to turn it off.
    Curmudgeon in waiting!
