HEY THERE BIG SNAKE..........POST MORE DAMN PICS WITH YOUR RESPONSE POSTS!!!! I DEMAND IT!!
Anyone on here who has links to their coin related website or eBay auctions in their sig line I either put their links into "My Favorites/Coin Sites" folder on IE or I ignore them in the future if not to my liking or interests. Plain and simple. I read posts and opinions and other interesting (to me that is, ) tidbits on here for my enjoyment and education to the wonderful hobby "of kings". I only post if I 1) have the time 2) find a post truly entertaining 3) just am overcome by a pic that I have to say something about it. Which, BTW, Mr Big Snake, I have yet to see your infamous "assistant" since I don't live on these forums. If you check my profile, you have an email link which I insist you use to email me ALL of your previous pics of said 'assistant' and if you wish, all coin pics!!!! Your coins are out of my price range (by a far shot) BUT, I also like to look at other peoples' restored cars, rare guns, etc, which are out of my league also. As the old saying goes, "just because one is on a diet, does not mean they cannot view the menu." Go for the gusto, and I hope to see you at one of the ANA shows someday.
"I won't be wronged, I won't be insulted, I won't be laid a hand on; I don't do these things to other people, I require the same from them."
We should all be able to post image of any coins that we want to, for sale or not! I think that anyone who has issues with posting images that are of coins for sale has some kind of sour grapes problem. As long as the author isn't saying "look at this coin I have for sale" in their post then who gives a rip........
This all started when you posted your colorful Kennedy. Check mine out in my eBay store in my link below. Don't worry, I am not trying to sell it as it is WAY over priced...
If we want to be lawyerly about it, the answer is no because "any coin" is broad enough to include coins for sale. There is a BST forum for that. Now if we continue to be lawyerly about this, and re-phrase the question... "Should ANACONDA be able to post images of any coins, excluding those coins that are for sale of part of an inventory that is for sale, that he wants to?" Then I think the answer is yes.
Now let me tell you what I really think... It is pathetic that so many people have posted to this thread and some other threads that have numismatic issues that are either interesting or significant get less 10 or 15 responses... This forum is about U.S. COINS and not personalities... I think that is a pretty simple concept to understand.
Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.
Adrian -- wow, I push a couple of your buttons and you go off the deep end on me. Sorry I couldn't "play" with you today, I was in fact busy paying the mortgage, doing the laundry and buying an office building. Sometimes life gets in the way of the Boards. I do apologize for "my digs." I did agree that I thought you should post your pics. Though, I did expect you to have thicker skin as a litigator.

By the way, that wasn't haking. Think of it as a mere tickle. But my offer still stands -- you come to Long Beach and I'll buy dinner and drinks. I have a feeling that I would probably enjoy your company. Bryan thinks very highly of you. And I respect Bryan's opinion.
So my open hand is extended as well -- with a dinner invitation firmly placed in the palm.
well guy's have we decided it's okay to start threads about our ebay coins? If so let me know so I can get some exposure for about a dozen coins and it's okay because most are nicely toned. mike

Share away! Just because they are for sale doesn't mean you can't share ....... does it? Also, just because they are for sale doesn't mean you have to share that fact in the coin forum. I know I'm fairly new here compared to some of you so you may not respect my opinion but man I just don't understand what the issue is.
I like Anaconda's coins, comments, and quite frankly, the lively commentary he has brought to these boards over the last 2 years since the first napalm bomb was dropped. It has been entertaining to watch his approach soften over time and watch his relationships with members grow. He is one of us and his coins are flat out awesome. Let him post away.

By providing a link in your signature line to the coin being for sale- you are sharing the fact the coin is for sale. mike

Not! If the person said "hey, click the link in my sig line to see this coin on ebay" then I could understand. All I see going on here is sour grapes.
