It's pretty obvious by the image that it's a jwcameo coin.

The Price guide lists a PR67-DCAM at $10,000
10 1959 - - 10 15 18 23 29 45 165 -
10 1959 CA - 14 15 27 92 390 780 1000 5600 -
10 1959 DC - - - - 2000 4000 5000 10000 20000 30000
I think I like Russ's answer better
But at $100 I think the potential upside far exceeded the downside.
Here is the auction

That's what I thought when I BINed this one, (also for $99):
Turned out to be only a cameo, worth about $20:

Still even a Cameo 1959 Franklin lists PR65CAM at $390, PR66CAM at $780 ...

True. But compare the contrast in the image of the Frankie with the contrast in the image of the Kennedy and it should be obvious that the Frankie isn't a cameo. Note, for example, how silvery the devices appear in the image. This is a dead giveaway.
You did just fine by not plunking down your money.

PCGS price guide?

I'm sure there would be plenty of buyers for a '59 in 67DC at $10k.
<< <i>Here is what a Franklin which has real cameo looks like. This one only got a 68 cam at PCGS although it is very close to dcam. Nice even frost on both sides.

correction, here is a Frankie with cameo contrast!

I think you have it exactly right. I agree.
If it were a $10k coin, it would already be in a PCGS holder.
It is probably a $100 coin - Jeff knows his cameos.

a 1950 in DCAM, a 1959 in DCAM, and last but not least a Mint State 53s in FBL.....
any person that has one of these would surely get it slabb'd.

That would be the 'holy grail trifecta', I believe. I concur in the substance of the post. Heck...I'd be pretty darn happy to just have ONE of the the three.
