Depends. Liquidation value for the holder is probably $1,750. I cannot assess the coin inside off a scan, but it looks too white to me for my taste. Downside $250, upside $500. Odds of each ... oh ... about 10:1

I would have to disagree... Definitely needs some toning. I can't stand the 'look' of a freshly dipped trade dollar.

Althought I don't especially NEED the toning, I would appreciate a little more luster. That coin has a metallic look, likes its been dipped out a little too much.

Then again more luster and it wouldn't be a 64

I think it's the marks and the fact that it's been cleaned which keeps it from MS-65, not a lack of luster. Looks like a 63 at best to me. Chances of upgrading that coin are 0%.

Probably came from the NCS factory (second door to the left) then went down the hall to NGC. Just a guess folks.
