I think a phishing scam that would work is after an eBay auction, send a "Notification of an Instant Payment Received from (xxx)" to the seller after an auction closed.
I click on the "View the details of this transaction here: ABCD123456789" links in those emails
This email confirms that you have paid phonebuyer (phonebuyer451@yahoo.com) $278.99 USD using PayPal.
