A bunch of the Canadian Dollars to start with. The 1958 reverse is awesome. The one with the canoe is beautiful. I have a new "Lucky Loonie" on the way (proof), and several with wildlife scenes. I think I'll start with these.

Then several of the French coins are beautifully detailed. I like the 100 franc silver coins like the '93 Louvre anniversary, Venus De Milo, the 1900 thru 1906 100 Franc pieces ... There are so many.

Canadian is an excellent way to ease into the Darkside.image

French coins always have a dramaitc look. Sometimes they miss, like the KM940 10 franc coins, but more often they do well, like the KM485 Walkers or the early coppers like KM843.

Feel the power of the Dark side!

Thats exactly how I felt when I looked through my first krause. The great thing about world coins (compared to U.S. coins) is you can get twice the history for a tenth of the price (i.e. you can buy a lot of those coins up without breaking the bank).image

    Ain't it the truth !!!

That, plus the sheer beauty of some of the darkside coinage, is what attracted me to this side. This is gonna be FUN image

I wonder if Krause Publications can be sued for its part in "enabling" the disease...image
