I dont have any English coins. I have US, Japanese, Hong Kongese, Singaporean, Korean, Canadian, Uzbeki and probably Turkish somewhere. Who knows, maybe more. But, NO English. It would be a nice addition to my collection.

I should win the IOM coins because I do not have any coins from there and also because I love collecting the different designs that they darkside has to offer. Ths set would make a very nice addition to my collection and would have a great home with my other darkside coins even if there are not as many darkside as there are liteside. I see that changing in the future though because there are so many beautiful designs out there to collect.

I don't know that I feel comfortable saying I should win since all of my fellow collectors would appreciate the coin as much as myself. I would like to win since others have stated I only have a few foreign coins, and none of them are from the IOM. In addition I am currently in the process of putting together a new collection since I sold off my old collection years ago to pay off bills.

The last reason I would like to win is becuase I am currently riding out a Hurricane after already beeing hit by one 3 weeks ago. The financial impacts to me have been pretty substantial as I have flooding in my house, their are parts of a tree on my roof right now and a big section of shingles just blew off. I would say the odds of my being able to afford any coins in the near future are remote as best, as I have to worry about repairs, replacing carpet etc.

Good luck to everyone and if I don't win, thanks for the chance anyway.

I should win because I like cats and I used a cleaver to make my cat into a Manx.

(Not really- but we did have her declawed.)

Excellent giveaway!

So why should I win? Maybe because I am an eager collector of Manx coinage - not all the expensive commems, but the regular circulation coinage. Finding all the types is quite a challenge, actually. I am missing some of the newest coins in my collection, so that set would fill some holes

Well, well.. Congrats with the milestone , Tony!

Why should I win? Because at least some of the coins in that IOM set has naval depictions on them and because I just like coins from IOM and starting to collect them a few months ago, trying to build at least small collection of IOM and also Channel Islands and Gibraltar collection.

BTW, it will be great if the person, who'll win (even it will be I, myself

) will scan that set for us!

I don't think I should win. I'd rather see one of my coin collecting colleagues share in the exquisite numismatic opportunity.
