Just picked up this 43-d merc...66FB...PCGS

Was wondering what generation holder this is,any advice would be appreciated. Any thoughts welcomed to.

That is the original PCGS holder, a "rattler," because the coin rattles around in it. The coin looks nice.

It's "rattled" around so much that it has rotated almost 90 degrees in the slab.

Being that this is a original holder do you think coins in these slabs are undergraded and is there a possibility of any damage to the coin.

No damage to the coin.

If it is a 67FB it would have been cracked out of the holder and re-submitted and sold as a 67FB.

Yep, old rattler. I have one in that, too. 43-S. I found that the mercs I've seen in first gen holders are solid grades but not undergraded.
