Be objective and buy what you like... if it is from another country or from another century that is okay... coin collecting should not be confined or have limiting boundaries that impairs your ability to appreciate the coin for what it is.

Well - in all honesty - this is the coin that got me interested in the crown/halfcrown sized Vatican coins, since they're silver and cheap - there might be smoe out there that are toned cool like this one.

You may be in more trouble than you think. If you like this coin so much there
are many Vatican coins that are much nicer and you shouldn't even think about
looking at San Marino coinage or Order of Malta.

While the disease is terminal, most victims can lead otherwise productive lives
for many years now days.
