Is this possible? A doubled clash?

It looks like this strong reverse clash on this Roosevelt is doubled? Any opinions?
Some coins are just plain "Interesting"

I had a 1943 cent with a tripled clash on the reverse, and somewhere around here I have a memorial with a doubled clash then another clash that's out of alignment on the obverse. I don't know what such coins would be worth, but I would have to doubt an error dealer would give you the time of day for one. Doesn't matter, they're still interesting.

Now that I have a new camera, maybe I'll try to get a good picture of those, the triple is really kewl

where they come out of the leaf.
Also, above PLU of PLURIBUS. What happened there? Clashes don't disappear.

Occasionally you can find a very wide separation between one set and another, as the result of a misaligned die clash.
great question! kool coin too!!!

You do have an excellent example of a die clash. The clash marks are doubled because the dies struck twice without a planchet between them. This happens in pretty much any denomination but not as often on moderns. For example, I have a 1886 VAM 1C morgan with 5 clashes noted. I haven't seen any coins with more than 5 clashes, they are usually spotted by then and the dies are fixed or replaced. If anybody has any good clash photos, this would be a good thread to start posting them.
