The only reason it does not grade PO-01 is that it cannot be uniquely identified. If it were a chain cent, it would grade a PO-01

Poor old soul's with their PO01 old coins.......I actually saw a Peace $1 at Long Beach last June that was so worn that only by tilting the coin and peering intently could one faintly distinguish that it was a Peace $1 and not a Morgan or a blank. Now that's worn. Unfortunately the daler that had it thought it was mighty special and wanted $44 for it........which was SLIGHTLY over market <grin>.

Don't think that's a PO01. I think the date/mm has to be visible, otherwise how would you slab it?
