Forum posters with most personality

I was noticing some posters seem to be more prolific than others and some have a certain flair when posting, so I am making a list of my favorites, in no particular order.

Lord Marcovan-Love the vest with the holey coins. A very personable looking fellow.

Mr Platinum- What can you say about Mr. P. He has the best of the best and isn't afraid to show it off.

Mad Marty/Russ- Two sides of the same AH Kennedy half dollar.

Mark Feld (forget his forum name)- Very informative. I always come out from his threads much more knowledgable than when I went in.

FC57- The pug dog with the cigar is hilarious and I love his toned Roosie collection.

LucyBop- Still wears poodle skirts and angora sweaters in public. What style.

Tradedollarnut- Anyone who goes to the trouble and expense of assembling the finest known Trade Dollar set deserves a spot on this list, IMO.

There are a few others, and I'm sorry if any of you feel left out, but I just can't think of all your names off the top of my head atm. image

    Me, of course. image

Seriously, though, I've enjoyed the posts of many people for many reasons. Some make me laugh, some make me think. Some are just entertainment.

I agree I like everyone here (with the exception of Kiefer, he don't like me pedigree). My favorites have to be the ones I made into Gulls in my Siggy!!!
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

Makes me want to get another cat. My last cat was a coin collector. She found mint sets and liberated the coins at times. image

I don't know about that, sometimes you speak the honest truth that none others will.

We love cats, have ten of them. If you saw the grey cat I had in my sig earlier, that is this cat's sister. We rescued an entire litter from a wild cat. We placed four of the six, but wound up keeping these two because of their personality.

  • Just like a big, somewhat disfunctional family, everyone brings something to the table - a little enthusiasm, a little humor, and a great deal of knowledge about this hobby. All newcomers bring new blood to the boards, new questions, and new points of views. I love this place! image

Having met LordM, FC57, Dahlonega, Fatman, ArtR, WayneHerndon, Tassa, and a few others.......I can say that everyone here has traits thats like I like and some traits that I don't care for, but, hey, thats what makes the world. I've learned loads from many, many people here.

I used to have a phobia of cats. Then when I started dating my wife, who has a cat, I gradually went from being phobic, to tolorant, to genuine apreciation, to where I am now, loving cats.
  • Cat lover here too....I have (no laughing please) 2 American Bobtails, 1 japanese bobtail and one Cabbot/bobtail....names are : Dupa (mix bobtail and manx), Uber (white Bobtail, Bonk (registered japanese bobtail) and Moo .... the weird mix.....

Carl has met them along with Carla.

Moo is the one in the box in my sig.

For Miss Personality, I have to nominate Lucy Bop.

For Mr. Objectionable personality, I must mention Mr. Platinum. who will refute any dissenting opinions with his wealth and many pursuits. I'm surprised he posts here so frequently, given what should be his hourly billable rate.

For the indefatigable troll personality, Kingcoin/LuckoftheIrish must get the most persistent/tilting at the windmills personality award.

Laura Legend has posted more truth here than most could get away with, and I agree with her heartily, even though I will probably never have enough disposable income to allow a serious conversation with her. Perhaps someday I'll show up at a show before she packs up.

K6AZ is a friend and mentor, and not grumpy at all in person. He's actually younger than me. We have met in person three times.

MadMarty appeared perfectly sane to me when we met in person. Perhaps I caught him on an off day when I showed him old computer hadware instead of coins. He (like K6AZ) is very conversant in the technological debris in which I wallow. I regret telling him that I was born in a year ending with his least favorite numbers, 58.

ARCO is another mentor whose demeanor is as practiced and well-defined as the coins he collects.

When I first started posting, my sig file quoted Groucho Marx, who said he would not want to join any organization who accepted people like him as members. I am happy to have discovered many personalities here with the same problem as Groucho.

I don't know how you measure personality but colorful I would have to vote for Dog97, always interesting and straight to the point, monsterman because he tells it like it is and walks the walk, Laura has become a legend on these boards for her candor, and for constant delivery of humor, insight and chuckles of course clankeye.
