I do. I bought it becuase I won a couple of the coins shown in it.

Its too big to scan (suppose it could be done piece-meal), or I can give you some details about what it says -

Is 28 years long enough for copyright rights to expire? If so maybe someone with the article could have a copy place such as Kinkos with a large enough color photocopy machine make copies that could be made available. If only cost of copying were reimburesed, I suppose the personal use exception might apply to allow copying even if the copyright has not expired. I'm assuming this article has some nice color photos that would merit copying. Another way to get a copy is to go to your local library and use the interlibrary service. I was able to get a color photocopy of an article from an out of print magazine mailed to me.

A PM sent by a forum member spurred me to go pull out my Life magazine copy and I realize the one I have is April 27, 1953, which featured a bunch of Eliasberg's coins.

If there was a second article in 1976, I don't have it.

I remember seeing the collection that year at the Philly Mint. I have one of the remaining special holders they used to display the collection there. Of course its for the Flying Eagle and Indian cents. I don't know what happened to the other display holders. I heard they were thrown out after the auctions!

    Eliasberg article

    Edit:

Also found this. A copy of the catalog of all the gold from the Eliasberg collection that was auctioned.

    Eliasberg gold.

That should satisfy your curiosity about the Eliasberg collection for a bit.

Even more interesting, I have the catalogue for the Elaisberg Gold auction, Stacks 1982. Fascinating. Photos are considerably low-tech by todays standards, but the coins weren't!! A very good reference book.
