Some eagles reverses not often seen here on the boards. I find the reverse of the modern commem series often out shines the respective obverse.

ManofCoins -- that's one of the nicest Washington reverses I've ever seen, green (!) and cobalt blue (sigh).

Have always liked the reverse of this coin - very Victorian looking. It's the ornamental reverse shield, sometimes mistakingly called the ornamented reverse - there are no ornaments on it

Stuart - John's coin is a beacon of light in the dead of the night. It's got the kind of luster normally reserved for MS67 coins and better. In addition, I have never seen an 1885S with such booming luster and cameo contrast on both the obverse and the reverse - this is definitely a one of a kind coin.
