Now... How much?
Nice grades on the 2 1964 AH Kennedys. But try to stop knocking over old ladies for their AH Kennedys huh?
every treasure on Earth
to be young at heart?
And as rich as you are,
it's much better by far,
to be young at heart!
" marty sucks"
Whatever that means. It's all very strange. I could have sworn he said he liked Marty. What kind of mad person would make my husband knock himself out cold.
I'll let you know when he comes around, but these kind of threads are dangerous.
<< <i>Congrats! Now if you could just explain to me how to distinguish an AH from any other run of the mill Kennedy, I'd be happy. >>
See Russ's page.
New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

<< <i>Marty: For the uninformd AH Kennedy folks like me, how big of a Cha-Ching was this for you ?? >>
Yea, what's the estimated value (an pop) of this grade?
<< <i>Yea, what's the estimated value (an pop) of this grade? >>
The pop is 16/8/0, and in the current market the coin would bring between $2000 and $2500.

We'll use our hands and hearts and if we must we'll use our heads.
Help me out. I don't understand why the value of this is so high! (AWESOME find for you though.) Is it really that hard to find proof kennedys that nice? Is is the year? Low mintage? I don't understand...
My dad has some proof sets from the 60's. Is a potential gold mine in each one? What do most of these things grade out as? Help......!!!

There are now a total of 58 of these in deep cameo in any grade, and this is the first one to be made in over 14 months. It is the third toughest in the series behind only the 1965 and 1966 SMS coins.

<< <i>ok..don't laugh. what Is the difference between cameo and Deep cameo? >>
Degree of contrast between the devices and the fields. Examples:
The first is a cameo, the second a deep cameo.

I JUST CANT STAND THAT ONE !! so watch out, doodles is BACK ON THE MISSION to buy it all !!
the law of avgs when you "buy it all" always produces to the positive side net result...
the "pick one off here/there method" dont work..
<< <i>it looks like i'm going to have to put Mike back on the "buy all of it" snipe duty again and take over. >>
You going to send him to the coin shop where Marty sniped the coin?

Does NGC look at this the same way?
Blue Moon
<< <i>Does NGC look at this the same way? >>
Essentially, yes. However, NGC's emphasis leans just lightly more toward frost on the devices, while PCGS's emphasis leans just slightly more toward mirror depth.

Shylock, that's hysterical.
Marty, unbelievable.

As Russ pointed out you will have to send Mike to a coin shop, not EBAY Jeff! But I dont blame you for being so happy for Marty. Great job on his part. As for you Jeff stoping the snipers on EBAY will cost you a lot more money than it used too. Some of them are pretty savy about the way you operate. Not all, but some are stepping up to the plate and putting up higher bids than before. It is tougher now over in EBAY town. But welcome back to the party!
You Suck !
