I don't normally get into this stuff, but this BS about LCGS is stupid! He has a 1976 D PROOF Quarter, also. I sent this guy the following e-mail:
    .

You should be ashamed to place this garbage on Ebay! Anybody who knows anything about coins, knows the mint did not make proof coins in Denver. Those coins in Coin World holders being marketed as slabbed by LCGS are a scam and you know it. Myself and others will be reporting you to ebay for this scam.

  • SGS slab, by the looks of it. I see these things all the time and they put such junk in their plastic. There should be a law by which all professional grading service must more or less adhere to the same grading standards. It should be illegal to use the same grading scale (MS60-70, PF60-70) that PCGS/NGC/ANACS uses, if you aren't actually putting that grade of coin in the holder. Call it something else, but not the grading scale that people have come to trust for decades. All these fly by night grading services do is scare people away from the hobby when they get ripped off.

It's a Coin World coin holder with an insert printed off the person's PC. A 1976 D dime or quarter in Proof doesn't exist and the coins in the holders are not proof coins. I've sent a complaint to Ebay and suggest others do the same.

  • Something is seriously wrong in his feedbacks. I clicked on some of the items he has sold, and in some of the listings I clicked, he is listed as both wfmcoins AND tdoctor, and guess what else?? In some of his auctions where he is listed as tdoctor, the winning bidder is....wfmcoins and some of his wfmcoins auctions, the winning bidder is....tdoctor!! This guy is obviously trying to build an ebay rep using a variety of aliases to lure people in for a ripoff.
