The astronaut certainly looks more like he's relieving himself than the much-overrated minuteman does.

It's interesting that if an astronaut were acutally doing that, the pee stream would be straight (as is shown on the PMM) because of no gravity.
Similarly, a true PMM would have a curved stream (as is shown on the astronaut) because of gravity.

So clearly the two coins have the urine streams mixed up, making the errors that much more rare.

Now, if the astronaut is in orbit, the extra or lessened velocity afforded said stream would put it into a higher or lower orbit than the astronaut in question and it would follow a curve as proscribed by it new orbit.
