PCGS Slab Question

Is this an older style PCGS Slab? I haven't seen one that looks like this and wanted to make sure it is legit.

Yes it is an older PCGS slab.

Yes, that's a previous incarnation of a PCGS slab. I just recently sold a coin with a similar slab (included for comparison). Note that there are also even older PCGS slabs; these are in "flat" slabs and sometimes they are called "rattlers" because the coin seems to be able to "rattle" inside the holders. With the oldest PCGS slabs, the label looks like it was made with a cheap dot-matrix printer.

Forget the slab, the real test is whether or not the coin shows up in the database. You'll be happy to hear that it does.
