  • littlejohn,

I've been out of the GSA's for a little while, but my guess would be in the 650.00 - 800.00 range. That's also assuming that you have the box and cert. to go along with it. Good luck.

with coloring like that you should double or triple the untoned value. if pcgs certified the coin, then the "sell ability" increases, and so will the price.

too bad the toning isnt on the obverse and then the sky is the limit on coins like that.

I hope the coin looks better than the pics.

Cross it to PCGS and get them to slab it reverse side up.
They will do it, and you will get more $$ (IMHO) when you sell it.image

In this market you get more bang for your buck by leaving the coin in it's original GSA holder and making sure you have all the documentation. I agree with the above statements saying that you should get a significant premium for this coin's toning.

I would not crack it out of the GSA holder. I would expect that coin to fetch well over $800 with the color.

I agree.....Leave it in the original holder!!
It IS worth more that way!
(I thought it was already in a plain NGC slab)imageimageimage
It also looks like it might have some textile toning. If so, make sure you mention that as
well, as that also will increase the value.
    VERY nice coin image
