All is well in 50 piece "classic commems"

Some great coins in the recent "JFS" sale enabled me to get the set back on top...When the JFS set was listed it knocked me off the perch by a couple of hundredths of a point..That collection had a few real nice coins in it and I did my best to get em..most notably a pan pac in 68..alabama 2x2 and monroe in 67...

Congrats, Bruce! I had a lot of fun sitting next to you and rooting you on. It was amazing that you were 3 for 4 on cut bids - excellent bidding!

The Pan Pac was amazing. Mere words don't do it justice.

Bruce: Nice going! You'll have to tell me how you were able to pry that Pan Pac away from MS68 - his name was written all over that coin!! Congrats!! image

Where are the pics? I would love to see a 68 Pan-Pac,

Bruce, did you buy a Carver? Which one? The 52P? The 53-S? I'd love to hear, should you be comfortable saying so.
