I went to the bank today ... WOW

I went to the bank today to pick up some paperwork on my oldest son's new cash/atm account (at 16, he just started at that great coffee company, and so far it's a love/love relationship {after talking with his boss last night}) ... anyway, Dad is proud ... so every once in while he rides the bus across town ($1. each way) to visit Mom and so I figured I'd pick up a roll of dollars or a couple rolls of halves so he'd always have change available.

I'm sure glad I picked a couple rolls of halves. Opened them up, and out came two 68-d's! Nothing spectacular in condition (AUish), but what a treat to see some silver (albeit 40%) in circulation. image

Maybe I should start searching rolls again ...

“We are only their care-takers,” he posed, “if we take good care of them, then centuries from now they may still be here … ”
