    It also appears that this is the first time this person is selling as all of her feedback is from sellers.

    WOW, all of a sudden has 47 items up for Auction?!!! Any coin shop burglaries in Bangor, Wisconsin recently?image

  • Is it appropriate to even warn the bidders? or does that violate an ebay policy?
  • Looks like scumnuker won.

    I hope this was someone from here that is using a fake account to protect other bidders if so that is great!

    I emailed the business with the website that the coins pics were taken from and got this reply;

    Roger

    Thank you for taking the time to write us about this. The pictures being used are indeed the same ones that are on our website. However, we are not the owner of the pictures. Use of them was granted to us by our original supplier. I will inform them of the situation and let them pursue it if that is their desire.

    Once again, thank you for bringing this to our attention,

    Ed

    Sir,
    I believe someone has stolen your pictures of 2 coins and is trying to sell them on Ebay. Here are links to the 2 auctions. If they are truly trying to cheat someone I would suggest you contact Ebay.

  • I looked at some of her old auctions that she has been the seller in the last month. 6 others were high dollar. Same type of pictures. Definitely a scammer.

    This one looks like it might be a hijacked account.

    I agree with Russ ... looks like someone got an old ebay account to access and is using it to run a scam

    “We are only their care-takers,” he posed, “if we take good care of them, then centuries from now they may still be here … ”
