Hello everybody,
I am the newest member of the Pinnacle Rarities team.; a team which is more hospitable and hard-working than I could have ever imagined. In no small part to this forum and Mark Feld, I have set my career in numismatics in motion at Pinnacle Rarities. I have been given the opportunity to have a career of which I've only dreamed until now. I know it will take me a few weeks of stepping on feet before I find the right stride to walk beside the awesome team of Pinnacle, but I am giving everything I have to open the door to this opportunity knocking. I can guarantee that I will contribute great things to this company and I want this to reflect the support I have recieved from this forum. Everyone who helped me on these boards has played a key role in helping me achieve this extremely fortuitous position at, in my opinion, the pinnacle of rare coin dealerships.
To this end I'd like to know how I can support the collector's universe forums at Pinnacle Rarities.
Some of you know who I am and know I am a good guy. Most of you don't know me. I'd like to change that. I haven't had much of an opportunity lately to contribute to the forums because I have been on a cross-country move from Louisiana to Tacoma, WA. I would like to personally thank forum member Zulan, his son and his son's friend in helping me move into my new place. If there was ever a genuinely good person out there, Zulan is him. Thank you.
If you are from the Seattle-Tacoma area (or feel like traveling), just let me know and we'll get some good old cajun food cookin and have a good old apartment warming party on September 4th and 5th, 2004. PM me and I'll give you my number and I'll put you down on the list. No need to bring anything. There will be Free drinks, free food, and free fun. 'cept for gas, hotel and plane tickets if so applies.
Thanks,
Brandon Kelley

I'm a native of Southwest Louisiana. I have degrees in Computer Science from LSU and McNeese State University. I have two wonderful kids and a beautiful wife.
I've already learned that the hardest part of this is being away from my family for 4 and a half months.
Anyways, in a nutshell. I am a computer nerd, coin nut, fellow eBayer, and avid photographer.

Congratulations Brandon. Now, with you working for Pinnacle, you'll need to change your forum handle as your current one will no longer apply.
Well, for the time being, I'm still a poorguy

are you familiar w/ the coin posse? if not, then i want coinguy1 back!
Yeah, Eric is still on my side (I hope ) Coinguy1 never left the boards.

Are you making the transition from Coin Collector to Coin Dealer??
I've always been a small-time eBay dealer (KelleyCollections). The coins that Pinnacle aquires are drool-factor 11 and up. I can't wait to work with them.

Did you ever get your sofa through that door??
Nope. had to go get a Futon!!!!!! Arg. It is quite comforable though, but once you've sat on heaven, nothing else seems quite right. This brings me to an interesting question that should probably be in the Open forum (Cameron ). If there is anyone in the Seattle-Tacoma area that would be interested in a nice sleeper sofa leather couch for 6 months PM me.
Here's a picture showing why the couch didn't fit. (It's like watching your pet die.)

Awsome news.........congrats on the new position, and hopefully we can all purchase some coins from you in the near future.............anything uder $300 bucks over there....
Get with me about that.

Congrats! An excellent firm to be associated with. Now, can I hound you like I hounded Mark Feld all his days there? (well, I still hound him, actually )
Bring it on Jeremy.
-Thanks everybody. Like I said, I wouldn't be working for pinnacle if it were'nt for these forums. Maybe I should have a giveaway.
Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.

Congrats, Brandon! You're the third collector/board member I can think of who has joined a major firm (toningintheblood and LegendSteve are the other two I recall).
Pinnacle is a first-class outfit and I wish you all the best!
New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
Congrads!
Seattle is a beautiful city, wonderful Chinese food too! HMMM!
Why step over the dollar to get to the cent? Because it's a 55DDO.
You're working with a top notch as well as very special group of people....Larry and I look
forward to meeting and doing business with you.

Now we will someday learn from you!
We welcome Brandon and feel confident he will become a significant part of our team here at Pinnacle. Further, we hope his experiences here will be a catalyst for even greater participation by him on these Forums. Thank you for all your best wishes for his success.

looks like you are new to the forum (posting at least) as well.
Welcome to both of you then
And, I hope Brandon is enjoying our beyootiful weather this week as it is typical of the area (you guys probably suckered him out here with the great 3 months of sunshine and neglected to tell him about the other 9 months of dismal damp days
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
